Black Odyssey: Travel, Culture, Connection
Cape Town coastline and Table Mountain

TRAVEL • CULTURE • CONNECTION.

For the everyday.
And the extraordinary.

School runs. Workdays. Airport arrivals.
Local transport and culturally rooted tours, brought together in Cape Town.

Our story

A place to explore.
A connection to make.

South Africa’s energy runs through its music, food, history and everyday life. That’s where Black Odyssey begins: a Black-owned travel and transport business rooted in Cape Town.

We share the city through Black South African culture and lived experience, from township stories to the conversations around a table. For the global Black diaspora, that can be a connection to the continent. For anyone curious about Cape Town, it’s an open invitation.

Connection is part of everyday life here, too. It’s getting children to school, helping teams travel to work, meeting someone at the airport, or making time to explore your own city.

Our purpose is to make those journeys personal and thoughtfully planned. Through school and worker transfers, airport trips, concierge travel and cultural tours, we help local families, working teams and visiting guests get where they need to be.

Our approach

Rooted here.
Connected everywhere.

The same care connects our everyday transport and cultural tours: understand the people travelling, plan around their needs and bring local knowledge to the journey.

Culture at the centre

Black South African culture shapes how we share Cape Town and connect with its communities.

02

People before the route

A school run, a shift change or a day out starts with understanding what the people travelling need.

03
